How does a project usually start?

With a 30-minute discovery call. We ask what the film has to achieve, where it will be used and what has been tried before. If it looks like a fit, you get a written proposal with a fixed price and a delivery schedule within three working days.

Do you write the script, or do we?

Accepted Answer

Either. Scripting and narrative development are included in Campaign and Enterprise engagements, and can be added to a Single Film. If you already have an approved script, we will pressure-test it against the shoot plan rather than rewrite it.

Who owns the finished film?

Accepted Answer

You do. On final payment you receive full, perpetual, worldwide usage rights to the delivered films across all media. Licensed music and stock elements carry their own licence terms, which we document in the handover.

How long does a project take?

A Single Film typically runs three to four weeks from kick-off to delivery. Campaign work runs five to seven weeks. Event highlight films are delivered within five working days. Rush schedules are possible and priced accordingly.

How far ahead should we book?

Three to four weeks is comfortable for a single shoot day. Campaigns and multi-day productions are usually booked six to eight weeks out. We hold a small amount of capacity each month for short-notice work.

Why is there no fixed price list for everything?

Because crew size, locations, talent, travel and delivery volume genuinely change the cost. The prices on our pricing page are real starting points for the scope described, and every proposal is a fixed price — not an estimate that drifts.

Question 7

What is not included in the quoted price?

Accepted Answer

Paid talent and casting, location hire fees, permits, specialist equipment such as underwater housings, travel beyond 50 miles of Bilston, and paid media budgets. Anything applicable is itemised in the proposal before you sign.

Do you require a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes — 50% on booking to secure crew and dates, and 50% on delivery. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. Enterprise engagements can be invoiced against a purchase order on 30-day terms.

Question 9

Are you insured, and can you work on our site?

Accepted Answer

We carry £5m public liability and £1m professional indemnity cover, and can provide certificates, risk assessments and method statements for site inductions. Our drone operations are CAA-authorised.

Question 10

What happens if the weather ruins a shoot day?

Accepted Answer

Every outdoor shoot has a contingency date agreed in advance. If we jointly call a weather abort before the crew travels, the day is moved at no cost. Our cancellation policy sets out the detail.

Question 11

Can you work with our existing footage?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Editing and post-production is a standalone service. Send us rushes, archive material or an old film that needs re-versioning and we will work from what you have.

Question 12

Do you travel outside the UK?

Accepted Answer

Regularly. Travel, accommodation and per diems are quoted transparently, and we work with local fixers where permits or language make that the sensible route.
